This March Queer Headed returns to Cape May! Our last attempt at walking Cape May Point in January was snowed and iced out (the entire trail was literally covered in ice) so we're heading back down south to give it another go. We'll be walking about 3 miles on sandy terrain and boardwalks and taking in the beautiful marsh, woods, and beach of Cape May Point State Park and the Nature Conservancy's South Cape May Meadows.
Link in bio to RSVP, hope to see you all there on March 8th at 1pm! Bring water and dress in layers :)

Yesterday was divine ✨️ we're so grateful to all the beautiful people who came out to share connection. Queer Headed Speed Dating volume 2 was a massive success 💘

Repost! The venue has asked us to remove the address from public posts, which is why we're resposting it without the exact address. Still in the same place in Mays Landing, DM us for address details (you will also receive the address and directions once you sign up). Same event, same time, same place, so no changes! Message us with any questions :)
P.S. tickets are still available but for this event they're limited due to the size of the venue so rsvp before they run out! Link in bio to sign up

Had a great time taking in nature, chatting with new friends, and monkeying around today in Belleplain 🌳🤸♂️
Keep an eye out for our March nature walk and join us for nature shenanigans!

Rounding out our lineup of events for February is this month's nature walk, which will be held at Belleplain State Forest 🌲
We will be meeting in the Lake Nummy parking lot and walking 3.3 miles on flat, sandy terrain. Dress in warm layers and bring water and a snack!
**Winter layering tips:
-Wear synthetic fabrics like acrylic, polyester, etc as a base layer closest to your skin with several layers on top that can be wool, wool blend, cotton blend, etc.
-Never wear cotton as a base layer as it holds moisture to your skin and can increase your chance of hypothermia in cold weather.
-Don't forget to also wear a warm hat, gloves, warm socks, and a scarf or something to keep your neck warm- protecting your extremities is important in cold weather.
-If you have sensitive sinuses consider also wearing a cloth face mask/face covering as it can help warm up the air as you breathe and prevent sinus inflammation.
